A for Airplane children’s book is the first in the alphabet “Scotty Adventure Learning” transport series.

When asked about why the author Rob Bevan wrote the transport series, Rob said: “After my own learning difficulties leading to be diagnosed with dyslexia; as my son, Scotty was growing up, similar to me, all Scotty wanted was playing with wheels that whizz by, toys with wings flying high or toys splashing in his bath tub with no interest in letters or numbers. At the time, worried with Scotty’s learning and development.”

With this in mind, Scotty literally inspired Rob to grab a pen and paper to start on an alphabet journey from A to Z to aid Scotty to learn basic sounds and letters, thankfully Scotty’s speech and learning development are fine.

With all the families’ passion gone into each story-line, the dream is for the Scotty learning adventure series to become an icon of positivity, courage and a learning base for every child in the world.

The Scotty A to Z adventure learning transport series is not just a bedtime story, each letter of the alphabet introduces children to an amusing and engaging story-line with a specific transport type and basic words warped in vibrant illustrations.

With Scotty’s influence, each of the A to Z series of books will have glossy photographs and fun activities to bring alphabet learning and basic vocabulary to life with the lovable character named Scotty.

There’s particular excitement about the book launch because A for Airplane will kick-off the transport series with the aim to complete the series of twenty six books by next year, with Z for zip wire, the last in the series of the transport adventure learning books.

Rob commented, “One of hardest part of the journey so far was negotiating with Scotty to choose one mode of transport for each letter of the alphabet. Scotty has too many favorites that clashed with the same letter. For example, the letter e, the transport type is an electric car with an elephant in the story-line. With Scotty creative ideas, the story turned into an amazing adventure, we both can’t wait to read the finalized e for electric car children’s book.”

The first children’s illustrated book in the series, titled “A for Airplane” begins with Scotty being too scared to fly one day, Scotty visited the Airport to fly with Granddad in his bright yellow airplane.

The flying adventure turned into an action-packed flight and along the way, with lots to see and learn, flying high and low, Scotty spots lots of things and wildlife beginning with the letter A.

The “A for Airplane” concept is a fun learning experience warped in an engaging airplane adventure story-line and vibrant illustrations to provide basic words related to the letter A and knowledge building of all things to do with an airplane.

Rob Bevan, is a self-published author based in the United Kingdom, with twenty six books in the alphabet transport series, the author has started a crowdfunding campaign, launching the first book, November 2018.

Funding will also aid publishing each letter of the alphabet in two formats, “A for Airplane” for American English and “A for Aeroplane” for the British English version.

Rob hopes that the first book “A for Airplane” will to take flight into the hands of children to read, learn and enjoy across the world and join Scotty and the family on more exciting A to Z learning adventures.

In the interview, the author made a point of thanking Scotty and mummy for their amazing ideas towards the creation of the children’s picture book transport series; to push the idea from sketches towards a full color illustrated hard cover book, saying: “We’ve been on amazing learning adventure together, each story fine turned by Scotty at bedtime.
